Dr. Ellen Buerk grew up in Eaton, Ohio. She graduated from Miami University and The Ohio State University. Dr. Buerk completed her residency from Columbus Children's Hospital and Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Buerk is the past President of the Children's Hospital Medical and Dental Staff, past President of the Ohio Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is currently on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
In 2000, she was named Ohio's Outstanding Pediatrician. Dr. Buerk enjoys painting, playing the piano and spending time with her four children and her family.
