Seizure

A seizure is an episode of rhythmic jerking of some or all parts of the body.

The child is unconscious during most seizures.  Following a seizure, the child will sleep and be difficult to awaken.

If a seizure lasts for more than a few minutes, call 911!

If your child has had a seizure, go to the Emergency Room or call the Doctor on Call at (513)523-2156.
