Children fall often.  Most falls occur when they are running or walking.  These are usually less likely   to  cause serious harm than a fall from a greater distance.  If your child cries right away, and returns to their normal self once they calm down,  the only thing you need to do is observe them closely for the next 3 - 4 hours.

 

            Call the Doctor on call at (513)523-2156 if after a fall your child has:

                       1) Loss of consciousness

                       2) Seizure

                       3) Abnormal behavior (confusion, lack of coordination, abnormal    speech)

                       4) Vomits repeatedly (more than once or twice)
